Cardinals beaten in Brooklyn

Brookyln NY- Monroe University blew out the Cardinals 84-35 at home with a very impressive all around effort. The Cardinals were only able to shoot 21 percent from the field and 31 percent from the free throw line. Monroe was able to shoot a more efficient 40 percent from the field while outrebounding the Cardinals by 32.

Jocelyn Fogle was the only Cardinal in double digit scoring with 16 points and also added 7 rebounds. Monroe's Morgan Marshall led the game in scoring with 25 points shooting 50 percent from the field. Kaylyn Lelie and Carlota Lopez each added 15 points, while Lelie added a game leading 16 rebounds to her stat sheet.
