Anderson, Balogun, Muchai Earn All-Region Honors
Three of our Cardinals Men's soccer players earned all-region honors for their excellent play in the 2024 season. Defender James Anderson earned first team honors, striker Tolulope Balogun earned second team honors, and wing Michael Muchai earned an honorable mention.
Sophomore James Anderson was captain of the Cardinals team and led the Cardinals defense from the center back position which held opponents to only two goals per game during their last five contests. Anderson was the anchor of the Cardinals' defense always in the right position causing havoc to opposing teams' offenses.
Freshman Tolulope Balogun earned second team all-region honors in his first season as a Cardinal. Balogun was the leader on the team in shots with 20. He turned 4 of those shots into goals while also adding 2 assists on the season as well as a game winning goal.
Freshman Michael Muchai earned an all-region honorable mention in his first year as a Cardinal. Muchai was the leader in goals scored for the Cardinals this season with 7. He also led the Cardinals in assists with 3 from the left wing spot. Congratulations to all three Cardinals in being recognized for their excellent play on the field!
