Cardinals Comeback Falls Just Short against Hagerstown

Hagerstown, MD – The Cardinals dropped their third straight on Friday against Hagerstown Community College. The Cardinals got off to a rough start, trailing by 12 going into halftime. They fought hard in the second half but ultimately couldn't overcome the deficit. The final score was 75-67.

The Cardinals received strong contributions from all their starters, with Karris Scott and Wendall Tomlin leading the way. Scott tallied a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He made a huge impact on the defensive end, recording four steals.

Tomlin was the leading scorer for Catonsville, scoring 19 points on 7-13 shooting. He also grabbed five rebounds and had two steals.

One of the big issues for the Cardinals was their efficiency. They shot just over 40% from the field, while converting just 33% of their three-point attempts. They also struggled to draw fouls, getting to the free throw line just seven times. The bench was also an issue for Catonsville. They scored just six of the teams 67 points.

The Cardinals fell to 13-10 with the loss. They'll try to rebound on Wednesday against Howard Community College.
