The Cardinals grab an easy win at home vs. Cecil

Cecil College
Catonsville, MD- The Cardinals hosted Cecil College this Tuesday (4/20) and came away with a 12-3 win.
Cardinals 12 (15-6), Seahawks 3 (8-24). WP- Dan Delaney (3-1), LP- Brandon Snyder (2-3).
The Cardinals put the first two runs on the board in the bottom of the second on a homerun from Tomas Martinez which brought home Alex Elliott from his single to left field earlier in the inning.
The Cardinals broke the game open in the bottom of the fourth. After Caleb Bailey was walked and Alex Elliott hit a double to left field, Chris Pizarro brought two runs home on a single to right field. With the bases loaded, Wyatt Moore was walked, which brought home Chris Pizarro. Immediately after, J.R. Simmons was hit by a pitch, which brought home Aronne Dutton. Alex Elliott then got his third hit on the day, driving a double straight into right field for two RBIs.
The game quieted down in the fifth and sixth innings before the Cardinals scored four more runs in the bottom of the seventh on a three-run homerun from J.R. Simmons and an error by Cecil, allowing Alex Elliott to reach home again.
The Cardinals have had more success in away games this season, so this was a great win to keep their confidence up at the nest.
