HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Catamounts broke the game loose in the 1^st inning by scoring 5 runs on a string of base hits and a few costly errors made by the Cardinals which should have gotten them out the inning. 5-0 Catamounts.
• In the second inning the Catamounts struck again by scoring on an error by the 3^rd basemen and a passed ball. The Cardinals scored one run on a passed ball to make the score 7-1.
• The rest of the game was quiet for both teams until the Catamounts scored one run on a sacrifice flyout to center field. 8-1 Catamounts.

STANDOUT STATS

• Travis Fullerton pitched 5.1 innings and only allowed 4 hits and 1 earned run.
• Dwayne Thomas had a hit and scored one run.
• Cesar Castillo Baez, Alex Elliott, and Tomas Martinez all had 1 hit.
