Bio

In February 2025, Casey Gronewold was named as the Athletic Operations Assistant and Sports Information Director for the Catonsville Campus. She is responsbile for game day operations, sports information, the Athletics website, along with all inventory and ordering of equipment. She plans on beginning her Master's degree in Higher Leadership Education this summer.

Gronewold joined the CCBC Catonsville staff in October of 2023 as an Administrative Assistant to athletics. She worked in the front office, managing administrative and support duties for all college teams. Gronewold works game operations for all CCBC Catonsville sporting events, including running live stats and event management.

Before joining the Cardinals front office family, Gronewold played softball for the Cardinals between 2015 and 2017. Originally recruited as a first-team all-county catcher out of Old Mill Senior High, Gronewold led the Cardinals to a #12 ranking during the 2016-2017 season, a 36-7 record, and an undefeated conference record. The Cardinals were also ranked #2 in the nation for Team Batting Average. She was also nationally ranked for her OBP (.563).

Gronewold transferred to Towson University in 2017, where she graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in sport management. During her time at Towson, she interned at CCBC Catonsville. Gronewold worked in sports information, primarily working live stats. She would continue to work for CCBC Catonsville after graduating until taking a position as an Assistant Athletic Director for the Gerstall Academy from July 2021 to October 2023.

Gronewold currently lives in Pasadena, Maryland with her husband Michael. When she isn't working with CCBC Catonsville athletics, she enjoys working out, traveling the MLB stadiums, and playing with her puppy Moze.
