Bio

Morris “Stretch” Brandon enters his third season as the head coach of the CCBC Catonsville Women's Basketball Team after serving as an assistant coach  in the 2018-2019 season.  

Coach Brandon has over 20 years of coaching experience in multiple levels. His coaching career began at the high school level coaching at Lake Clifton High School, Northern High School, Western High School, IND and M.A.T.H.S Academy. During this time, he has played a national schedule as well as coaching highly recruited players. His accolades at the high school level include 2 state championships while at Western, and an IAAM “B” conference championship as an assistant at IND.

Stretch’s success continued when he won a D-League women’s basketball championship as a coach for a team called the Baltimore Starz. At the AAU level, he coached teams including the nationally ranked Baltimore Cougars, the Baltimore Starz, and the Lady Shooting Stars. He has coached at the collegiate level as an assistant for the Morgan State University women’s basketball program while also training athletes preparing to play collegiately as well as overseas.

Through his experience and success at all levels, Stretch has become a vital asset to the women’s basketball community.
