Cardinals Play a Close One @ Monroe Bronx

Bronx NY- The Cardinals trip to NY ended in a tough 64-60 loss to Monroe University-Bronx. This was a highly contested matchup with each period's scoring margin being less than double digits. Each team turned the ball over at a large rate with the Cardinals having 27 while forcing 24. The Cardinals were only able to hit one three pointer in 14 attempts while shooting 55 percent from the free throw line.

Jocelyn Fogle led the contest in scoring with 19 points and added 12 rebounds to her ledger. Serafina Stubbs added 17 points and 8 boards going 7-8 from the free throw line.  Beverly Williams and Tymere Moorer added 16 points for Monroe Bronx, while Tiffany Newsome added 15 points and 15 boards.

The Cardinals look to build on this close one in their next contest against Baltimore City Community College on Dec 4^th.
