Catonsville, MD- Despite strong defense, the Harford Fighting Owls bested the Cardinals 69-53 on Tuesday evening. Harford's Madison Nimmo led the charge with an impressive 35-point, 12-rebound performance, hitting 18 of 23 free throws.
Despite the loss, Catonsville's Jocelyn Fogle shone bright, tallying 16 points and 12 rebounds. Jayda Mayles was the leading scorer for the Cardinals with 17 points, draining 3 three-pointers. While Catonsville showed resilience in the second half, Harford's consistent scoring, particularly in the fourth quarter, secured their victory.
The Cardinals will travel to New York this weekend for two contests against Monroe University, and Monroe University Bronx.
