Cardinals Fall 1-2 to Riverhawks in Hard-Fought Match

Catonsville, MD- On October 16, 2024, CCBC Catonsville narrowly lost 1-2 to Anne Arundel Community College in a thrilling matchup. Catonsville's Giovanni Alonso struck first, putting them up 1-0 at the 32-minute mark. However, Anne Arundel responded with goals from Henry Guillen (37') and Ever Santos (84') to take the lead. Despite strong efforts from Atendem Fuamazah, who made five saves, Catonsville was unable to find an equalizer. The Cardinals were outshot 9-10 but demonstrated grit throughout the game.

Anne Arundel's Olvin Martinez recorded the win, stopping two shots. The Cardinals will travel to Essex Community College, NJ on Thursday, October 17th.
