Scouting Report: Harcum enters today’s match looking to compete in Division I of the NJCAA. This is a division higher than Catonsville, so Harcum plays tough opponents on a weekly basis. However, they both play a couple of the same opponents throughout the year, one being Hagerstown. The Cardinals shut down Hagerstown in a 4-0 win, however Harcum completely dominated them with a 16-0 win. The Harcum offense is full of talent, averaging roughly five goals per game this season. Catonsville’s defense is going to have their hands full in this match-up.

Catonsville’s defense and goalkeeper Franklin Duarte (Meade) must come out strong in order to beat this Harcum team. Without a doubt, they are going to be tested throughout the match. Along with the defense having to play exceptionally well, the Cardinals’ offense must do the exact same thing on the opposite end of the pitch. Forwards Bradley Ramirez (Newtown), Mykal Hogan (Boys Latin), and Mike Miranda (Lansdowne) will have to work together to create scoring opportunities and put the ball in the back of the net. The Cardinals are desperate for a win to get them back on track, and Harcum is a tough opponent that stands in their way.
