The Cardinals Men's Lacrosse team jumped out to big 9-3 halftime lead over the College of Southern Maryland, who played the 2nd game of their inaugural season. Southern Maryland played well in the 2nd half and cut the Catonsville lead to just 12-9 with 3 minutes remaining but a goal by Sophomore Ben Holback gave the Cardinals the 13-9 lead and they were able to hold on. Catonsville was lead by Daquan Dixon and Jackson Fleming, as each tallied 3 goals and 1 assist. Justin Brown was again outstanding in goal for the Cardinals with 17 saves for the win.
The Cardinals return to action on Sunday, March 16 vs Brookdale at CCBC Dundalk.
