Justin Brown leads the way for the Cardinals in Season Opening Win

Freshman goalie Justin Brown led the way for the Cardinals, turning away 21 of 23 Morris shots, as they cruised to a 17-2 victory in their season opener tonight at CCBC Dundalk. The Cardinals used a balanced attack and a strong defensive effort in front of Brown to jump out to a 9-0 halftime lead, and a 12-0 lead after 3. The Cardinals were led offensively by James Garrett with 4 goals, and Tyler Westphal and Jackson Fleming with 3 goals each.  Catonsville was also outstanding at the faceoff X winning over 80%, with Tanner Gerace winning 87% of his draws.

The Cardinals will return to the field on Wednesday, March 12 with a 5:00pm faceoff vs Delaware Tech-Terry at CCBC Dundalk.
