Catonsville, MD- Cardinals can’t continue winning streak.

The Cardinals on the last game of the season couldn't finish with a win. Tamaron Hargett, John McNeal, and Kevin Makle ended with 72 of the Cardinals 92 points. McNeal ended the season with back to back double-doubles, with Makle being shy by one rebound to have a double-double of his own. Miles Gaynair, Joacquin Gonzalez and Hargett had 15 of the team's 19 assists. 

The Cardinals started with an 8-2 lead after four minutes, their largest lead in the half being eight. McNeal and Hargett both scored double-digits points in the first, 12 and 10 respectively. The Cardinals with an early lead, let the Nighthawks go on a 14-6 run, the span of eight minutes for Nighthawks to catchup. Throughout the half, the Nighthawks went on scoring runs with 12 being their largest lead. Ending the first half, the Cardinals were down 42-50. The Cardinals committed 15 turnovers in this half.

In the second half, the Nighthawks went more on scoring runs, from the field, and the free-throw line.  Cardinals couldn't make any shots during these times. In this half, the Nighthawks never let go of the lead and had a lead as high as 21 points late in the half. A big turning point was the 3 point shooting. The Cardinals shot 0% behind the arc in the second half compared to the Nighthawks 41.7%.

The Cardinals finished the game shooting almost 54% from the field and having 68 points in the game. The three deciding factors in the game were that the Cardinals committed 21 turnovers, the Nighthawks scored 10 threes compared to the Cardinals four and the Nighthawks being 75% (27-36) from the free-throw line.

With the season now completed, the Cardinals end the season with a 6-21 record and 3-10 in the conference, being 5-6 home and 1-13 on the road; improving from last season's 5-20 record. The Cardinals this season averaged scoring 71.7 points per game while shooting 44.3% and 32.7% from three. Additionally, the Cardinals averaged 39.2 rebounds and 10.9 assists per game.
