Bio

Brewer enters his second season as an assistant coach at CCBC Catonsville and works with the pitchers and as an assistant recruiting coordinator. Prior to joining the Cardinals, he coached at the high school level for six years.

Brewer played four years of varsity baseball at Hammond High School in Columbia, Md. where he was first team All-Metro three times and First team All State his senior year. His 13 homeruns in a season still stand as the Maryland Public School record. On the mound as a closer, he had a career 1.91 ERA and received a scholarship to pitch for the nationally ranked University of North Carolina - Wilmington.

In his freshman season at UNCW, he was part of the pitching staff that tied for fourth in the NCAA with a 3.10 team ERA and played in the LSU Regional. Brewer transferred to Towson University after his sophomore year where he helped the Tigers to the CAA Championship game in 2005.

Brewer has also helped with the Mid-Atlantic Rookies, a nationally recognized showcase team based out of Gettysburg, Pa.
