Cardinals Wrap Up Florida Road Trip with Loss to Rollins
CCBC Catonsville wrapped up their season-opening road trip with a 3-1 loss to Rollins College JV on Thursday night. The loss dropped the Cardinals to 0-5 to start the season.
The Cardinals offense struggled for the second game in a row, with the lone bright spot being freshman shortstop Kevin Santos De Leon (North County). De Leon scored the only run of the contest, recorded the only hit of the game for the Cardinals, and notched a stolen base.
Freshman pitcher Adam Decker (Towson) got the start for the Cardinals, allowing just two hits and one earned run in a solid evening of work.
The Cardinals return home this week for their home opener against Sussex County.
