Game 1: Cougars 3 (11-9), Cardinals 4 (18-11). WP- Travis Weaver (1-0), LP- AJ Cieslinski (0-1).

• In the second inning, the Cougars scored on a two-run homerun to score the first two runs of the game. 2-0 Cougars
• In the fourth inning, the Cardinals scored all of their four runs and they came off of a wild pitch, error, and two singles. 4-2 Cardinals
• The Cougars tried to make a comeback but were only able to score one more run during the rest of the game and it came in the sixth inning from an RBI single. 4-3 Cardinals 

Game 2: Cougars 11 (12-10), Cardinals 2 (19-12). WP- Max Proctor (1-0), LP- Jason Skeen (0-1).

• In the second inning, the Cougars scored one run off an RBI single. The Cardinals answered back by scoring one off a fielder's choice. 1-1
• The Cougars scored two more in the fourth inning on a single and a ground out to take the lead. 3-1 Cougars
• In the fifth inning, the Cougars put up 5 more runs to increase their lead by 7. These came off of two singles, triple, and ground out. 8-1 Cougars
• In the sixth inning, the Cougars scored one more run off an RBI single. 9-1 Cougars
• In the seventh inning, the Cougars hit two solo homeruns to extend their lead to 11-1. The Cardinals only answered back with one run in the bottom of the seventh inning. 11-2 Cougars
