Women's Soccer Signings

Catonsville, MD- Head Coach Karmo Bolay is proud to announce the signings (and re-signings) of six student-athletes.

Hanna Quiroz (Returning- Pictured top left): Coach Bolay is thrilled to announce the return of midfielder Hanna Quiroz. When asked about her, Bolay stated: "Hanna has great qualities for a defensive midfielder. She's energetic, tough, and decent in the air. Hanna communicates in the back and organizes the defense. With the work she has been putting in this offseason, her best years are ahead of her."

Emily Lewis (Returning- Pictured middle right): Coach Bolay is proud to announce the return of Emily Lewis. "Emily is an absolute work horse, she's a great utility player who we have been able to play in almost every position. We are very happy to have her back." Coach Bolay stated of Emily.

Rachel Ames (Returning- Pictured bottom left): Coach Bolay is excited to have Rachel Ames returning to his squad this year. When asked about her, he stated: "Rachel was huge for us in the early parts of last season, she a sound player with the ability to use both feet. Unfortunately, we lost her last year due to injuries, but she has been doing rehab during the offseason and will be ready to go this fall."

Andrea Gutierrez (Incoming- Pictured top right): Andrea is a product of Owings Mills High School in Baltimore County, where she played on the varsity team for three years- along with being captain her senior year. "Our staff is looking forward to working with Andrea, she brings a tremendous amount of energy to the middle of the park both on and off the ball." Coach Bolay said of Gutierrez.

Krista Wagner (Incoming- Not pictured): Krista has come to CCBC Catonsville by way of the Abeka Academy. She played youth soccer and club ball with Linthicum and the Christian Athletic Association (CAA). Coach Bolay commented; "Krista is very athletic; she has the ability to read the game quickly and close down opponents out of the back. We look forward to using her experience as an intelligent defender to bolster our back line."

Susan Martinez (Incoming- Not pictured): Susan was a Baltimore County all-star and assistant leader at Owings Mills high school. "Susan understand playing in the midfield both as a passer and receiver of the ball, and she will be a great asset for our forwards and the program." Coach Bolay said of Martinez.

The Lady Cardinals will continue to prepare for the 2020-2021 season.
