Lady Cards Close Out Season Against Howard

Catonsville, MD- The Lady Cardinals closed out their season on Monday against Howard Community College.

Despite a few tough losses this season, the women's soccer team prevailed in terms of sportsmanship, comradery, and grit. Although they would only post an overall record of 1-11, the team had showed determination throughout every game.

The Lady Cards got their first win in two years with a 6-4 victory over Rowan College on September 15th, with an impressive four goals scored by Ariana Smith-Rodriguez. This win showcased that the program was heading in a positive direction.

Smith-Rodriguez would go on to be the team's leading scorer with six goals. She would also post 16 shots on goal for a whopping .640 percentage.

Emily Mohammad would not be too far behind with three goals and one assist on 12 shots on goal. Her percentage would end with a .632.

Goalie Jenna Dade would end the season with a conference-leading 202 saves in 12 games. Dade would post an overall .643 save percentage while allowing 112 goals to hit the net.

The Lady Cardinals are optimistic to see what the future holds for the program moving forward.
