CCBC Catonsville's women's basketball team wrapped up their fifth straight win on Monday, defeating Harford 78-41.
The Cardinals' defense stole the show as they held Harford to single-digit points in two quarters. Catonsville forced 26 turnovers, recorded 14 steals, and grabbed 38 total rebounds.
Offensively, the Cardinals saw two players score double-doubles. All five starting Cardinals scored in double digits in arguably the most impressive performance of the season.
Sophomore forward Dasia Townes (Baltimore Poly Tech) finished as the leading scorer for the Cardinals with 19 points, five rebounds, and six assists. Sophomore guard Tenea Robinson (Baltimore Poly Tech) finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while sophomore forward Jocelyn Fogle (Hammond) recorded a double-double herself (11 points and 13 rebounds). Sophomore guard Mya Franklin (Newtown) hit a pair of threes to add to her ten points, while sophomore guard Kayla Cabbagestalk (Chesapeake) added 13 points and eight steals.
