CCBC Catonsville's women's basketball team continued to dominate Region 20 on Monday, beating the College of Southern Maryland 61-43.
In a game rescheduled from January, the Lady Cardinals once again held an opponent to under 60 points. The defense snagged 57 rebounds and 17 steals, while also holding the Hawks to single-digits in two quarters. The offense got off to a slow start, but a 22-point third quarter helped Catonsville pull away to their 15th win of the season.
Sophomore guard Tenea Robinson (Baltimore Poly Tech) led the Cardinals with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and seven steals. Sophomore forward Dasia Townes (Baltimore Poly Tech) finished with eleven points, six rebounds, and five assists. Sophomore forward Kayla Cabbagestalk (Chesapeake) added 12 points, nine rebounds, and seven steals.
