Robinson Drops 30 in Take Down of PG County

CCBC Catonsville's women's basketball team continued their surge toward the top of the conference with a commanding win over Prince George's Community College.

Led by a 30-point day from sophomore guard Tenea Robinson (Baltimore Poly Tech), the Cardinals held yet another opponent to under 60 points, the ninth time they have accomplished that this season. Four Cardinal players scored in double-digits as the offense tallied its second-highest total of the season.

Leading by three after the first quarter, the Cardinals slammed the door on the Owls, holding PG to just eight points in the second quarter. The rout was on from there, with Catonsville wrapping up the 80-55 victory with two 20+ point quarters.

Robinson led the way offensively with 30 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore forward Jocelyn Fogle (Hammond) scored 14 points, eight rebounds, and two assists, while freshman forward Niyah McCray (Reginald Lewis) came off the bench to score a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. Freshman forward Serafina Stubbs (Owings Mills) had eleven points and nine rebounds.

The Cardinals' next challenge is against Penn State York to close out the 2023 portion of their schedule.
