Softball ranked #14 in this week's NJCAA rankings
CATONSVILLE, Md. – The CCBC Catonsville Softball team appeared in the NJCAA DII Softball rankings for the second consecutive week, being ranked #14 this week. The ranking of #14 is the highest for the program since the end of the 2017 season.
The Lady Cardinals sit 12-4 on the season, riding an eight game win streak going into this week’s action. By sweeping doubleheaders against Chesapeake College and Richard Bland College this past weekend, the Lady Cardinals moved up six spots from being ranked 20th in last week’s rankings.
The ranking of 14 is the highest for the team since being ranked #12 in the final poll of the 2017 season. The Lady Cardinals were crowned Maryland JUCO Conference champions that season.
The 14th ranked Lady Cardinals welcome 17th ranked Cuyahoga Community College for a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at the Birds’ Nest.
