Casey Turner Named to NJCAA 3rd Team All-American

Congratulations to freshman Casey Turner on being selected to NJCAA 3rd Team All-American!

Turner played shortstop every game for the Lady Cards this season, and she proved herself to be spectacular both defensively and at the plate. She ended her season with a .529 batting average which placed her fourth in the nation. Turner also posted seven home-runs, .860 slugging percentage, led the conference with 63 RBI's, six triples, and 70 runs scored. She was also selected as NJCAA Division II player of the week for her stellar performance during the week of April 2^nd. On the defensive side of the game, she would post a .917 fielding percentage while assisting in three double plays.

Turner was also named to the NFCA 3^rd Team All-American, 1^st Team All-MD JUCO, and 1^st Team All-Region XX.
