2019 Softball Schedule Release

Catonsville, MD- CCBC Catonsville Lady Cardinals Softball head coach, Chuck Slater, is proud to announce the 2019 season schedule.

The ladies will kick off their season with three home doubleheaders against Mercyhurst or February 24, Lackawanna College on March 1, and Delaware Tech on March 3.

Following those six games, the ladies will head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Myrtle Beach Classic running from March 5 through March 9.

When the team comes home, they will have 19 doubleheaders for the remainder of their season, starting March 13 and ending on April 28. 13 of those 19 doubleheaders – and 16 of 22 total – will be played at home of the Cardinals.

Montgomery College, Chesapeake College, and Richard Bland College will visit CCBC Catonsville on March 13, 16, and 17, respectively. After those games, the Lady Cardinals will travel to Hagerstown on March 22, then return home for a four-doubleheader homestand against Cuyahoga Community College Western on March 23, Garrett College on March 27, Lakeland College on March 29, and Niagara County Community College on March 30.

Heading into April, Catonsville will have five road doubleheaders and six at home. Starting with the first one on the road, the Lady Cardinals will travel to Harford Community College on April 3. Then, a three-doubleheader homestand will take place against the College of Southern Maryland on April 5, Potomac State on April 6, and Allegany College on April 10. On the 13th, the ladies will travel to Frederick College at noon. Following that matchup, the Lady Cardinals will return home to take on the Riverhawks of Anne Arundel Community College on April 16. Then, the team will go on the road for a trio of doubleheaders, heading to Northern Virginia Community College of VA, Mercer County Community College of NJ, and Cecil College on April 18, 20, and 24, respectively. And at last, the ladies will return home for the final two doubleheaders against Rowan College of Burlington County on April 25 and the Towson University Club Team on April 27.

The following day is the Cardinals Alumni Game! This will take place at CCBC Catonsville at noon.

This year’s Region XX Tournament is taking place at your home of the Cardinals, CCBC Catonsville! The first round is May 4 and 5, and the second round is May 9 through 11. The winner will get their chance to go to Clinton, MS to play in the NJCAA World Series from May 22 through 25!

Coach Slater, the coaching staff, and the Lady Cardinals players are looking forward t seeing and hearing you at the games this season!
