On Tuesday, October 11th, the Cardinals clashed with the Hawks in a high-scoring matchup. The Hawks came into the match with a very impressive 8-4-2 record, placing the Cardinals in the underdog spot for this contest.

The action started early, as the Hawks and Cardinals totaled five shots within the first 15 minutes, with the first goal being scored right around the 20-minute mark. Southern Maryland's Eliass Elfasoukhi had two phenomenal goals in yesterday's match, scoring the first goal from about 25 yards out and the game-winning goal from a free kick.

The Cardinals' offense battled all game, with goals from Gio Guerrero (Stafford, VA), Cherif Haidara (Conakry, Guinea), and Giovanni Alonso (Lansdowne). This match was quite an offensive showcase for each team, and it was great to see the Cardinals' offense flowing and knocking in goals. As the season approaches an end, Cardinals fans have a lot to be proud of as this team has significantly improved over the course of just one season.
