On Thursday, October 5th, The Cardinals visited Westmoreland in an out of region matchup. The Cardinals came into the game 5-7-2 and Westmoreland 0-4.
The Cardinals bounced back in an impressive outing against Westmoreland County Community College. It was an offensive showcase as the Cardinals put up nine goals in the contest led by Ras'Michael Douglas with two goals. The opening goal was scored by King Remi in the 12th minute and the barrage continued with Abdou Loum, Ras'Michael Douglas, Mykal Hogan, Giovanni Alosno, and Cherif Haidara. The Cardinals gained a much needed confidence boost on the offensive side of the ball with the defense putting up another shutout.
The Cardinals are home in their next matchup against the College of Southern Maryland in what should be a good contest. Hopefully the Cardinals can carry this momentum with them into the next match.
