Freshmen Alfaro, Campos, Williams and Fedison are Given All-Region XX D1 Honors
Congratulations to the four freshmen men's soccer players that were elected for All-Region XX D1 honors.
Ronmel Alfaro (Midfield): All-Region XX DI 1st Team
Bastian Campos (Defender): All-Region XX D1 1st Team
B Lee Williams (Goalkeeper): All-Region XX D1 1st Team
Keelan Fedison (Midfield): All-Region XX D1 Honorable Mention
Alfaro was the Cardinal's lead scorer, with and impressive 5 goals and 7 assist to cap off an impressive season. Alfaro was aggressive- he seemed to always be in on major plays, and even took a whopping 35 shots this season. Campos was a shutdown defender that even tacked on a goal, he was a very important asset for the Cardinals. B Lee Williams was a standout goalie. With a .750 save percentage and had 6 complete-game shutouts while splitting 2 more shutouts. Williams solidified himself as one of top goalkeepers. He also was one of the most vocal men on the team- always letting his teammates know the situation. Fedison was another aggressive midfielder for the Cardinals having the second most goals on the team (4). Fedison had a very impressive game against College of Southern Maryland, recording 2 goals and nearly a 3rd.
