Saturday Shutout Lands Cardinals Back in the Win Column

Catonsville, MD- Saturday afternoon may have been a rainy one, but the inclement weather would not stop the Cardinals from putting up 5 goals in their second conference match.

The first half of the matchup was quiet, but Catonsville's defense was not. They had limited College of Southern Maryland to no shots on goal for the day. The Cardinals offense impressively recorded 5 goals in the second period, with a total of 8 shots on goal. They would find themselves steamrolling their way to a shutout rather quickly.

Keelan Fedison led the offense with 2 goals of his own on the day.

The remaining 3 goals were made by Edixon Moreira, Kevin Navarette, and Edwin Moturi. Ronmel Alfaro recorded 2 assists in the contest.

With momentum on their side, the Cardinals look forward to hosting yet another conference game this weekend against CCBC rival, the Essex Knights.
