Cardinals Drop First game of Season to #4 Ranked Camden

Catonsville, MD- Coming off two wins, the Cardinals were ready to take on another worthy opponent, #4 ranked Camden County College. They were ready to defend their home turf.

The players had all looked exhausted after warm-ups, due to the intense heat that Maryland was suffering that day. It was going to be a long game, but both teams were hungry to play. The game was dominated by a possession style of play for both sides that saw two talented teams battle for the chance to capitalize on a mistake by the other. It was Camden that struck on this humid day to record the lone goal for the entire match,. The Cardinals dropped their first game of the season and fell to 2-1.

B Lee Williams once again held his own with 3 saves on the evening.

The Cardinals won't dwell on this game though, they are already looking to their next contest. They will take on Montgomery this coming Tuesday at home.
