Coach Hazell Commits Six for 2016-2017 Season

During the summer, new head coach, Nic Hazzell, recruits his first six players for the upcoming 2017 Spring Lacrosse Season.  These are Nic’s first recruits and more to come!  Joining the cardinals this season are the following:

 
 

Justin Coleman, the first verbally committed recruit.

-He's from Baltimore MD. Attended Baltimore City Public Schools

-BDJ High School in Baltimore MD. Coach A.C. George, Head Lacrosse Coach

-Graduated with HS Diploma in May, 2016

-Already accepted into CCBC Catonsville. Planning to study Computer Science.

-7 years of lacrosse experience. 4 year high school starter playing as a Midfield/Attack. 2 year captain (2015-2016). Team Offensive MVP (2015).

Alex Hiotes

Midfielder. He's 18 year of age. Senior at Poly HS. Will graduate from Poly in June 2016. Seeking to study Civil Engineering at CCBC Catonsville beginning fall 2016 semester.

Alex, has been playing lacrosse since the 7th grade. He plays for Poly HS varsity team (4 yrs). Plays for Ground Control Lax (Baltimore County Club Lacrosse Program).

Tyler Pagliaro

17 years old - 6'1” 195lbs - Dundalk High School - graduates June 2016

Tyler plays varsity lacrosse as a starting attack-man at Dundalk HS for 2 years. Also plays varsity soccer, basketball, and track & field.

Apart of Minds in Motion for 4 years at Dundalk HS. Minds in Motion is an organization for students who keep a 3.25 GPA or better for the entire school year.

Tyler has already completed some college credits at CCBC while being a high school student. He is looking to study web development or cyber security as a college student. 

Tyler, his mom, and his dad signed LOI to CCBC Catonsville Men's Lacrosse on Friday, May 20, 2016.

Tyler is aware of the challenging experiences he will face as

his transition from a high school student-athlete to a collegiate student-athlete. He's willing to take on these experiences with a winner’s mentality. Constantly reminding himself that "sometimes you win; sometimes you learn". 

 
 
 

Yuri Stone

5'9" 150lbs - Dundalk High School - graduated June 2016

Yuri play varsity lacrosse as a starting midfielder at Dundalk HS for 2 years. Also plays varsity football.

Yuri is looking to study Forensic Science at CCBC Catonsville. He and his dad signed LOI to CCBC Catonsville Men's Lacrosse on Friday, May 20, 2016.

Antoine Jones

5'11"   155lbs - Lansdowne High School - graduated 2016

Lacrosse Midfielder

Played HS varsity lacrosse at Lansdowne HS for 3 years. 2016 season team captain. All County Defensive-Midfielder 2016 season. Also played basketball and football in HS.

"Looking to improve my lacrosse skills and learn next level lacrosse."

 
 
 

Kenard Robinson - Lansdowne High School - Graduated 2016 - 6'1"   165lbs

Lacrosse Defense (Defensive-man) 

Played HS varsity lacrosse at Lansdowne HS for 1 year. Most Improved Player 2016 season.

Also played football, wrestled and ran track in HS.

Kenard is looking to take General Studies while attending CCBC Catonsville.

"I'm excited about entering CCBC Catonsville. My goal is to improve in lacrosse and in class to be able to transfer to a four year college."
