Men’s Lacrosse Post Season Honors

The Cardinals wrapped up its season on April 22 and five student-athletes have now garnered post season awards.

Sophomore defenseman Grant Evans was selected to the All Maryland JUCO Second Team, All Region XX Second Team and Region XX All-Tournament Team. He finished the season with 44 ground balls, good enough to rank No. 7 in the MD JUCO conference.

Freshman attacker James Garrett, freshman midfielder Tanner Gerace and freshman goalie Justin Brown each earned All Maryland JUCO Second Team and All Region XX Second Team admirations.

Garrett's 32 goals led the team and were ninth most in the MD JUCO conference. He also had seven assists for a total of 39 points this season.

Gerace was second on the team with 26 goals, finishing in the top 20 of the conference. He added five assists to end the season with 31 points.

Between the pipes, Brown had a 10.06 goals against average which ranked third in the conference. His save percentage (63.2) and total saves (220) were the best in the MD JUCO conference.

Freshman defender Louis Laurore earned Honorable Mention All Maryland JUCO and Honorable Mention All Region XX designations. He completed the season with 31 ground balls.
