After trailing 3-1 after 16 minutes, the Cardinals found their offense and tallied 10 of the next 11 goals to find themselves leading 11-4 with just 13 minutes remaining in the contest. Freshman James Garrett led the way offensively with 5 goals, while Dequan Dixon (3 goals, 2 assists), Tanner Gerace (2 goals, 1 assist), and Tyler Westphal (2 goals) aided in the effort. Once again, goalie Justin Brown had another outstanding effort turning away 18 shots. Gerace, Ben Holback, and Mike Kusinsky were also solid at the faceoff X winning 19 of 22 draws for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals, who have entered the NJCAA poll at #10 this week, will return to action on Wednesday, March 19 at Northern Virginia at 3:30pm.
