Cardinals Fall on Road to Monroe

CCBC Catonsville's men's basketball team fell to Monroe College on Tuesday, losing by a score of 93-67.

Playing in their second straight game, the Cardinals trailed only by eight at the half, but could not overcome the deficit in the second. Despite the loss, the Cardinals remain tied for first in Region 20.

Sophomore forward Albright Obode (Plainfield) was the leading scorer for the Cardinals, scoring a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore guard Murray Grant (Obra D. Tomkins) finished with 15 points, while sophomore guard Jo-Nathan Kelly (Strawberry Mansion) added 11 points off the bench.

Next up for the Cardinals is a showdown with Hagerstown on Friday, February 23.
