Cardinals Slip Past Cape Fear

This past weekend, the Cardinals traveled to Wilmington, North Carolina to compete in the Tyreek Coger Classic. Cape Fear Community College was the host, and faced off with Catonsville to begin the tournament.

Going into the contest, Cape Fear had proven themselves a tough opponent through similar matchups. With a narrow loss to Harcum, a team Catonsville closely beat, you knew this was going to be an even match. Both teams played a very fast-paced style of basketball, and traded buckets throughout the game. Sophomore Murray Grant had a phenomenal display with 22 points that helped lift the Cardinals over Cape Fear. This win puts Catonsville at a 4-0 record to start the season, with a lot of basketball left, the Cardinals could not be off to a better start.
