Evans Drops 26 In Hard Fought Loss To Potomac State

Catonsville, MD- The CCBC Catonsville Cardinals could not overcome their slump, losing to Potomac State College of WVU with a score of 76 to 101. This loss marks the Men's Basketball team's fifth in a row, leaving only one game left for the Cardinals to right the ship.

The Cardinals put on an impressive shooting display on the road, shooting 59.6% from the field and 58.3 % from behind the ark, but could not keep up with the pace set by the Potomac State Catamounts. Loss aside, the Cardinals improved upon their previous loss to Cecil College, improving in almost all areas of the game.

Leading the Cardinals in steals and points was Guard Christian Evans, who contributed two and 26 respectively. John McNeal had a solid night on both sides of the court, hauling in eight rebounds, blocking three shots, and adding 15 points. Andrew Stigger and Jordan Tucker also contributed offsenviley, with Stigger scoring 16 and Tucker scoring 12.

The Cardinals will look to close out the season on a positive note as they get ready to take on Northern Virginia Community College at home on February, 26th for their final game.
