Cardinals Score 98 In Statement Win Over Chesapeake College

 Catonsville, MD- Men's Basketball improves to 4-16 on the year with an impressive showing against conference rival Chesapeake College.

The Cardinals played like a team on a mission, ending a four-game losing streak with an emphatic win on the road, defeating the Skipjacks with a score of 98-68.

Building on a 15-point lead at halftime, the Cardinals kept rolling in the second adding another 54 to keep Chesapeake from coming back.

The Cardinals were clinical from inside and outside, shooting 75% from beyond the ark with an overall rating of 69.2% from the field.

Sophomore Andrew Stigger and Freshman Shauntaze Drake led the way for the team, adding 24 points each with eight threes between the pair.  

The team fired on all cylinders without any active bench players, winning their match-up thanks to their effort in all aspects of the game. With each player playing 40 minutes, the team still managed to lead the game in free throws made, total rebounds, and assists, while also finishing with a +11 turnover ratio.

The Cardinals will hope to build off their momentum and keep up the pace, as they face-off against Prince George's Community College for their second straight away game.
