Catonsville, MD- Cardinals drop thriller to CCBC rival, Dundalk.
Coming off a momentous win against Camden County College just before the New Year, the CCBC Cardinals were hungry for more. They were preparing to host beltway rival, the CCBC Lions from Dundalk. Both teams came ready to play Friday night as the game even got pushed to an extra period.
The Cardinals had a few standouts during the game that really set the tone of the matchup. Offensively, Damon Moore scored 19 points while teammate Chauncey Smith scored 15 with 5 successful three's. On the defensive end, freshman forward Jordan Tucker secured 10 rebounds.
Despite the impressive quality of play from the Cardinals, they would fall short in overtime to their rival. The final score was 64-70.
The Catonsville Cardinals will travel next Saturday, January 12th, to Montgomery College. They will be looking for their fourth win on the season.
