CATONSVILLE, MD. – CCBC Catonsville won its fifth game in a row, improving to 12-4 overall, as they defeated the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College 79-70 on Tuesday night.
Everette Coker had 26 points and eight rebounds, and Jalen Myrie had 14 points and nine rebounds to pace Catonsville (7-2 Maryland JUCO).
Ke'Andre Gibson came off the bench to net 18 points and dish out seven assists.
The Cardinals took a 43-39 lead into halftime and would never relinquish it as head coach Greate White's team committed only 11 turnovers for the game.
Tied for third in the conference, the Cardinals are coming on strong for the stretch drive.
White will now try to keep his team focused as they have a Saturday game against Hagerstown Community College, before a huge match-up with Baltimore City Community College on Tuesday at the Jack Manley Wellness and Athletic Center.
