The Cardinals drops game two against the Catamounts.

On April 23rd, the Cardinals baseball team took on the WVU Potomac State Catamounts, falling in game two, 11-6.
In an inter-divisional matchup, the Cardinals were looking to bounce back from a game one loss to the Catamounts. Despite their efforts, it was a tough evening for the Cardinals, as they would find themselves dropping their third straight game.
The Catamounts would jump out early to a 4-0 lead in the third inning. However, in the bottom of the third, the Cardinals bats would heat up. An RBI single from Wyatt Moore (West Orange High School) and a three-run homerun from Moises Aristy Jr. (Arundel High School) would see the Cardinals tie things up 4-4 going into the fourth inning.
However, the tie would not stay for long, as the Catamounts would retake the lead 6-4 in the top of the fourth. The Catamounts would continue with their onslaught, jumping to an 11-4 lead in the top of the fifth.
In the bottom of the fifth the Cardinals would try to mount a rally. Aristy Jr. Would score Jalen Williams (Western Technical High School) on an RBI single. Aristy Jr. Would come around to score on a wild pitch making it a 11-6 game. However, that would be in for the Cardinals, as they would go on to lose game two by a score of 11-6.
The Cardinals offense was led by Moises Aristy Jr., who went 2-4 with 4 RBI's. Orlando Perez Jr. (Winter Park High School) went 2-3 with a run scored.
The Cardinals now sit at 26-19. Their next game is a makeup double header against Garrett College on April 25th, with the first pitch scheduled at 2p.m.
