Cardinals Continue to Win By Double Digits on the Road

On April 12th, the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals continued their stretch of road games, as they faced Westmoreland County Community College in an afternoon doubleheader. The first inning left us with the impression that this could be anyone's game for the taking, yet the Cardinals dismissed that notion and took control of the game.

The Cardinals started the first two innings strong, as they were able to stack up four runs in their first batting possession. The Wolfpack would respond to this with two runs of their own and then five runs from the Cardinals would take this game nearly out of reach early on. Some key contributors who played big for the Cardinals were Sophomore third baseman, Moises Aristy Jr (Arundel) who finished the day with his third triple of the season and two RBI's. Sophomore outfielder, Wyatt Moore (West Orange) hits his first home run of the season and picks up two RBI's on top of that. Freshman catcher, Nick Milum (Scotland Campus) would come in as a big contributor later on, adding four RBI's and a double to the stat sheet.

A 9 – 2 score midway through the game would eventually eclipse to a final score of 14 – 2. The Cardinals are coming off another strong game of dominant scoring and field performance, which they'll look to repeat in game two of this doubleheader.
