Returning from their spring break, the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals baseball team powered their way past Anne Arundel with a 4-0 victory.

Behind two home runs, the Cardinals rolled to their third shutout victory of the season.

Freshman pitcher Sean Driscoll (Audubon) pitched an excellent game, holding Anne Arundel scoreless while throwing five strikeouts.

Meanwhile, sophomore outfielder Caleb Bailey (Old Mill) opened the scoring with a solo home run in the top of the third.

Another home run came in the top of the fourth as freshman catcher Alex Valdez (Blair) sent a two-run homer streaking over the wall. Up 3-0, the Cardinals added a fourth run when sophomore second baseman Christian Figueroa (St. Mary's) scored on a sac fly from sophomore outfielder Angelo Ramirez (North Atlanta).

Behind Driscoll's excellent pitching, the Cardinals were able to secure the shutout.
