Bio

Entering his 16th season as the head coach at CCBC Catonsville, Coach Randy Gregory is approaching his 200th career win. Though winning is satisfying, the most fulfilling accomplishment for Coach Gregory is the significant contributions that former players have made to society. Not only have a significant number of former players obtained their bachelor degrees from four year colleges, but they have gone on to become professional basketball players, high school and college basketball coaches, educators, business owners, and productive members of society. Despite being diagnosed with ALS, aka. Lou Gehrig’s Disease in 2011, Coach Gregory has continued to perform his coaching duties at CCBC Catonsville. Over the years including this current season, Coach Gregory has had the distinct pleasure of coaching numerous CCBC hall-of-famers, NJCAA All-American performers, All-NJCAA Region XX performers, and All-Maryland JUCO performers. It is the result of the relationships with former players, coaches, and the support of the CCBC community, Coach Gregory continues to love performing his duties as the head coach at CCBC Catonsville. God is good, life is good!

Coach Gregory is supported in his efforts by a loving mother Toni Reed, sister Tobie Morgan, broth in-law Donnell Morgan, a companion for life, Dorethia Wood, eight fantastic children, Tyler Gregory, Asia Woodside, Randy Gregory III, Ryan Gregory, Neysa Gregory, Terrance Brown, Tyler Brown and Tevin Brown and one sensational granddaughter Asia Gregory, and the best daughter in-law Xoimara Gregory, two loving and phenomenal care givers and a host of other loving family and friends.
