Bio

Casey Gronewold joined the CCBC Catonsville staff in October of 2023 as an administrative assistant to athletics. She currently works in the front office, managing administrative and support duties for all college teams. Gronewold works game operations for all CCBC Catonsville sporting events, including running live stats and event management.

Before joining the Cardinals front office family, Gronewold played softball for the Cardinals between 2015 and 2017. Originally recruited as a first-team all-county catcher out of Old Mill Senior High, Gronewold led the Cardinals to a #12 ranking during the 2016-2017 season, a 36-7 record, and an undefeated conference record. She was also nationally ranked for her OBP.

Gronewold transferred to Towson University in 2017, where she graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in sport management. During her time at Towson, she interned at CCBC Catonsville. Gronewold worked in sports information, primarily working live stats. She would continue to work for CCBC Catonsville after graduating until taking a position as an assistant athletic director for the Gerstall Academy from July 2021 to October 2023.

Gronewold currently lives in Pasadena, Maryland with her husband Michael. When she isn't working with CCBC Catonsville athletics, she enjoys working out, baking, and playing with her puppy Moze.
